Another age old question, but a valid one all the same:
Why do men and women always want what they can't have?
I mean this in many scenarios; being in a relationship but looking elsewhere, those friends that tell you that they like you, the whole friend of an ex thing or wanting someone who's already taken. I'm no Angel (lol) so this isn't me taking moral high ground or anything. Although for the record I can say I've never cheated on anyone I've called my man. This question has been buzzing around for a couple days now so thought I'd ask the opinion of others. More my curiosity.
Some of which I've been in or have had friends in these situations, either way it's never easy. But what do you do in any of these? This is for both sexes of any age as it affects everyone, as after all we're all human...

Game playing
I just don't understand why there needs to be so many games when dealing with the opposite sex. And I just don't mean men before I'm attacked.
For example, when dating there are "rules" where you're not supposed to call the other person for two/three days after a date. Or the one aout a girl not calling a guy even if she likes him and then complains if he doesn't call within a week. Or the one where you can't call if the moon is in a cetain position in the sky. Okay, so I made that last one up but to me it sounds as silly as the previous two.
Life would be a lot simpler if everyone wasn't so secretive and just told it like it is. That way, everyone is in the know and you can make decisions based on what is being told to you. Since I've always been this way I've found little problems with people then saying I'm not being direct. Either you accept what I say and move on, or you don't. Either way it's your business. I may not sit there and talk my business alll day long, but when it comes down to it, and you need to know something I'll tell ya, no long ting.
I think if a lot more people thought the way that I and some of my friends do *Looks at Skoundrel* life would be a lot less complicated.
No bullshit, no drama. (well maybe there will always will be drama as there are a lot of Drama Queens out there, but you get the point)
